With the triumph, Southeast Polk moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Rams host Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Saturday, June 8. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 4-4. Jefferson lost 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Johnston (Johnston, IA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic contest, on Monday, June 10. Davenport Central will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.
