The Grinnell Tigers routed the host Van Buren County Warriors softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, West Burlington topped Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 8. Van Buren County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.
