Virginia High School Softball - Riverside holds off Hickory

June 7, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20176

Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Ram now own a 23-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kellam for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 8. Riverside will battle a Knights squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Knights record now stands at 23-1.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 19-4 on the campaign.
