Iowa High School Softball - Washington bounces West Delaware

The Washington Demons routed the visiting West Delaware Hawks softball squad by a count of 16-7 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Demons (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Wapsie Valley topped Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA), 13-10, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now sport a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a WaMaC-East battle on Monday, June 10. West Delaware will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Jesup (Jesup, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-10.
