In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Algona Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Glenwood Rams.

The Bulldogs (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Lewis Central nudged Harlan (Harlan, IA), 2-1, in a league game.

Next, the Rams play the Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, June 7. Glenwood will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 14-6 league win over Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA).
