Iowa High School Baseball - Highland holds off B-G-M

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Highland Huskies baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the B-G-M Bears.
The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Mediapolis nudged Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA), 16-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears play the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar game, on Monday, June 9. B-G-M will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 9-0 record after their 7-1 league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).
