In Saturday's non-league game, the host Kingsley-Pierson Panthers baseball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS.
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen go into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, MOC-Floyd Valley knocked off Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA), 10-0, in a league game.
Next, the NIGHTHAWKS play the Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, June 7. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Westerners go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 9-4 league win over Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA).
