The Lake Mills Bulldogs baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Crestwood Cadets to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Union for a Top of Iowa - West test on Monday, June 9. Lake Mills will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Crestwood drops to 0-8 on the year. The Cadets host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Northeast Iowa test on Tuesday, June 10. The Comets go into the test with a record of 0-8. Charles City lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Waukon (Waukon, IA)
