The Highland Huskies baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels to 1 in the Huskies non-league win on Saturday.

The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their game against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, B-G-M nudged English Valleys (North English, IA), 15-0, in a league game.

Next, the Rebels play the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West game, on Monday, June 9. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 4-2 league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA).
