In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting St. Francis Gladiators baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Negaunee Miners.
The Gladiators (21-8) will now prepare for their game against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 23-11 record. In their last game, University Liggett nudged Ida (Ida, MI), 7-6, in a non-league game.
