Iowa High School Softball - Denison-Schleswig sneaks past AHSTW

The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting AHSTW Vikings to 4 in the Monarchs non-league win on Saturday.
The Monarchs now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Creston for a Hawkeye 10 battle on Monday, June 9. Denison-Schleswig will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, AHSTW moves to 1-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Riverside (Oakland, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Western Iowa battle on Monday, June 9. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 6-1.
