The GMG Wolverines overwhelmed the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Rockford Warriors (Rockford, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, June 9. GMG will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to North Tama (Traer, IA).

The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, B-G-M toppled English Valleys (North English, IA), 14-6, in a league challenge.
