In Saturday's non-league match, the host Boone Toreadors softball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Oskaloosa Indians.

The Toreadors (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont was routed by Chariton (Chariton, IA), 10-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) in a Little Hawkeye match, on Monday, June 9. Oskaloosa will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 2-7 record after their 6-5 league loss to Pella (Pella, IA).
