The Wildcats now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alburnett for a Tri-Rivers - West battle on Monday, June 9. Central City will confront a Pirates team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Monticello moves to 0-6 on the season. The Panthers host West Branch (West Branch, IA) to confront the Bears in a River Valley - South battle on Monday, June 9. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 1-5. West Branch lost 9-8 in their recent non-league battle against Camanche (Camanche, IA)
