The Sheldon Orabs softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Emmetsburg E'Hawks to 1 in the Orabs non-league win on Saturday.

The Orabs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lyon for a Siouxland battle on Monday, June 9. Sheldon will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, Emmetsburg moves to 0-6 on the season. The E'hawks host Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a Twin Lakes battle on Monday, June 9. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 6-2. Newell-Fonda won 19-5 in their recent non-league battle against North Union (Armstrong, IA)
