The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) and the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), observed Escanaba's softball team notch a victory over Shepherd by a final score of 9-1.
The Eskymos (32-3) will now prepare for their bout against Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 20-2 record. In their last bout, Unity Christian gained a win over Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
