The Pleasantville Trojans softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Grand View Christian Thunder to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie City-Monroe for a non-league battle on Monday, June 9. Pleasantville will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 11-0 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Grand View Christian moves to 7-2 on the season. The Thunder travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to play the Bluejays in a non-league game on Monday, June 9. The Bluejays enter the game with a record of 3-2. Perry 0-0 in their recent non-league game against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA)
