The Pleasantville Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Lynnville-Sully Hawks to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie City-Monroe for a non-league battle on Monday, June 9. Pleasantville will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 11-0 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Lynnville-Sully moves to 5-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA) to confront the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar battle on Monday, June 9. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 5-3. B-G-M lost 9-5 in their recent non-league battle against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
