The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) softball the host St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA), 4-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Mountaineers now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Paul for a non-league outing on Sunday, June 8. Wachusett Regional will encounter a Knights team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Marshfield (Marshfield, MA). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, St. John Paul II moves to 7-9 on the season.
