Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 22-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Penn for a Suburban One - Continental challenge on Monday, June 12. Chambersburg will battle a Knights squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Knights record now stands at 26-0.

With the loss, Nazareth Area falls to 12-4 on the campaign.
