The Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels routed the visiting New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Rebels (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 24-4 record. In their last battle, Upsala was routed by Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Greyhounds now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league battle on Friday, June 9. New Ulm Cathedral will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.
