The St. Charles Fighting Saints got by the visiting Watertown-Mayer Royals softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Fighting Saints (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton nudged Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Royals now possess a 3-2 record.
