The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) and the host Clinton Redwolves (Clinton, MI), saw Whiteford's softball squad nip Clinton by a count of 8-2.

The Bobcats now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Algonac for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 11. Whiteford will face a Muskrats squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Muskrats record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 10-3 on the campaign.
