In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA), by a margin of 13-2.

With the triumph, Sioux Central moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to play the E'Hawks in a Twin Lakes contest on Monday, June 10. The E'Hawks come into the contest with a record of 3-5. Emmetsburg won 14-4 in their recent league contest against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA)

In their next game, the Jays play the Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, June 11. Gehlen Catholic will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 8-2 league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA).
