The Cougars now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Linn-Mar for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 25.

With the loss, Marion falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Benton (Van Horne, IA) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Benton won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ames (Ames, IA)
