The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) and the host Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI), saw Lake Orion's softball squad nip Utica Ford by a count of 5-0.
The Dragons now sport a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 11. Lake Orion will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Athens (Troy, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 29-10.
With the loss, Utica Ford falls to 20-10 on the campaign.
