In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) baseball squad the visiting MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), by a margin of 3-1.

With the win, Halifax betters its record to 18-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 21-4. Tri-Valley won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA)

With the defeat, MMI Preparatory School falls to 7-15 on the season.
