In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Central Lee Hawks baseball team scored a nice 11-3 win over the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves.
The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their game against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers go into the SE IA Super - South game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, New London knocked off Wapello (Wapello, IA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Wolves play the Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA) in a SE IA Super - North game, on Thursday, June 12. Winfield-Mt. Union will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Ravens go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA).
