In Monday's league game, the visiting Sigourney Savages baseball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Keota Eagles.

The Savages (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Plainsmen go into the South Iowa Cedar game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Belle Plaine knocked off Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA), 12-0, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar game, on Wednesday, June 11. Keota will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA).
