The Alta-Aurelia Warriors softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers to 1 in the Warriors league win on Monday.

The Warriors now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newell-Fonda for a Twin Lakes battle on Wednesday, June 11. Alta-Aurelia will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Storm Lake St. Mary moves to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA) to confront the Rockets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 10. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 0-1.
