Iowa High School Softball - St. Mary's bounces Harris-Lake Park

The St. Mary's Hawks softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Harris-Lake Park Wolves to 4 in the Hawks league win on Monday.
The Hawks now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Akron-Westfield for a War Eagle battle on Thursday, June 12. St. Mary's will confront a Westerners team coming off a 16-5 league win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Westerners record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Harris-Lake Park moves to 2-6 on the season. The Wolves travel to West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to confront the Falcons in a War Eagle battle on Wednesday, June 11. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 2-5. West Sioux won 8-4 in their recent league battle against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA)
