The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) and the host South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), observed Northwest Webster's softball team notch a victory over South Central Calhoun by a final score of 17-0.

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels go into the Twin Lakes bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Sioux Central gained a win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA), 8-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Titans battle the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Wednesday, June 11. South Central Calhoun will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 20-12 non-league loss to North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA).
