The North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) softball the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA), 10-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lancers (17-9) will now prepare for their bout against Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 8-26 record. In their last bout, Davenport Central was routed by Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
The Golden Hawks now possess a 16-20 record. They play next when they host Center Point-Urbana for a non-league bout on Thursday, July 6. Mid-Prairie will confront a Stormin' Pointers squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 18-17.
