The Pocahontas Indians baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Algona Bulldogs to 12 in the Indians non-league win on Tuesday.

The Indians now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Sac County for a Twin Lakes test on Wednesday, July 2. Pocahontas will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, Algona drops to 20-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Thursday, July 3. The Comets go into the test with a record of 1-22. Charles City lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)
