The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) and the host Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA), saw Clear Creek-Amana's baseball team gain a win over Fairfield by a tally of 17-11.
The Clippers (16-11) will now prepare for their battle against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 33-9 record. In their last battle, Iowa City held off Linn-Mar (Marion, IA), 10-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans face the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, July 7. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record.
