The Royals now hold a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they host Melcher-Dallas for a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. Colo-NESCO will play a Saints team coming off a 16-6 league loss to Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Saints record now stands at 8-8.

With the defeat, English Valleys drops to 0-17 on the year. The Bears host Highland (Riverside, IA) to play the Huskies in a non-league test on Saturday, July 5. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 12-6.
