In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Tipton Tigers baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Monticello Panthers.
The Tigers (9-16) will now prepare for their game against Durant (Durant, IA). The Wildcats enter the River Valley - North game with a 16-7 record.
