Next, the Wildcats play the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West challenge, on Wednesday, July 2. Central City will attempt to upgrade on its 21-12 season record. The Stars enter the challenge with a 7-19 record after their 10-0 league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).

The Royals (4-20) will now prepare for their challenge against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, B-G-M was routed by North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA), 11-4, in a league challenge.
