The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) and the visiting Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), observed Westwood's softball team prevail over Boyer Valley by a tally of 11-1.

The Rebels (7-10) will now prepare for their bout against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles go into the Western Valley bout with a 2-22 record. In their last bout, Lawton-Bronson knocked off Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, July 8. Boyer Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Griswold (Griswold, IA).
