The Jefferson Yellowjackets baseball squad (Council Bluffs, IA), was edged 18-17 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA)

With the triumph, Tri-Center moves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to IKM/Manning (Manning, IA) to confront the Wolves in a Western Iowa contest on Thursday, July 3. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 7-13.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 10-27 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux City West for a Missouri River contest on Thursday, July 3.
