In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes softball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Van Buren County Warriors.

The Big Reds/Redettes (16-9) will now prepare for their match against Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Roadrunners go into the non-league match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Interstate 35 tipped Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA), 13-10, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Danville Bears (Danville, IA) in a SE IA Super - South match, on Monday, July 7. Van Buren County will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 10-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA).
