With the triumph, Rockford upgrades its record to 10-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to play the Huskies in a Top of Iowa-East game on Monday, July 7. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 4-20.

The Cardinals now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they host West Fork for a non-league game on Thursday, July 3. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will play a Warhawks squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 18-4.
