In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Grinnell Tigers.
The Stormin' Pointers (16-14) will now prepare for their game against Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA). The go into the non-league game with a 23-14 record. In their last game, Central DeWitt tipped Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA), 7-6, in a non-league game.
