In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Anamosa Raiders baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Bellevue Comets.
The Raiders (19-9) will now prepare for their game against Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Winfield-Mt. Union knocked off Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA), 4-1, in a league game.
Next, the Comets play the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 6. Bellevue will attempt to improve on its 18-9 season record.
