The Mt. Pleasant Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Davis County Mustangs to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now own a 19-6 record. They take the field next when they host Davenport Central for a non-league test on Monday, July 8. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 21-12.

With the defeat, Davis County drops to 7-20 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league test on Friday, July 5. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 6-12. Keokuk lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA)
