The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Osage Green Devils to 2 in the Wolverines non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - Central battle on Wednesday, July 10. Dike-New Hartford will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Jesup (Jesup, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Osage moves to 21-8 on the season. The Green devils travel to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA) to encounter the Golden Bears in a non-league battle on Monday, July 8. The Golden Bears come into the battle with a record of 11-7. Bishop Garrigan lost 4-3 in their recent league battle against North Union (Armstrong, IA)
