The North Fayette Valley the visiting Crestwood Cadets baseball team by a margin of 6-3 in Thursday's non-league game.
The (5-25) will now prepare for their game against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars enter the non-league game with a 16-5 record. In their last game, Starmont held off Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 6-5, in a league game.
Next, the Cadets face the Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 5. Crestwood will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 7-19 record after their 3-2 non-league win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
