In Thursday's non-league test, the South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA) softball squad got by the visiting Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA), by a tally of 8-7.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA) in a War Eagle test, on Monday, July 7. South O'Brien will attempt to advance on its 11-14 season record.
The Braves (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA). The Big Reds go into the non-league test with a 28-7 record.
