The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) and the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), observed Webster City's softball team get by Eagle Grove by a tally of 7-5.

The Lynx (6-16) will now prepare for their bout against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 12-9 record.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, July 10. Eagle Grove will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record.
