In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Lake Mills Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the North Butler Bearcats.
The Bulldogs (14-10) will now prepare for their game against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the non-league game with a 24-8 record. In their last game, St. Ansgar tipped Riceville (Riceville, IA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
